Course Content
- Understanding factors that influence the provision of pest management services.
- Management and Control of Vertebrate Pests – covering both the chemical and non-chemical management, rodent behaviour, proofing and integrated management systems.
- Management and Control of Invertebrate Pests – from different insect orders using chemical and non-chemical means, treatment planning and monitoring.
- Service Delivery & Environmental Legislation – Risk assessment (COSHH, environmental impact), wildlife protection legislation, protected species, habitat considerations.
- Management Skills – Client liaison, reporting, using data & records, supervising operations.
Assessment & Portfolio
You’ll sit a 2.5-hour in-person exam, followed by a portfolio of four assignments. The assignments are designed to test real-world application — you’ll apply learning in your workplace or in case-study scenarios. Detailed instructions, templates & support are provided. Expect feedback timeframe within 2 weeks.
Duration
